Selected Projects
These projects were produced during my time as extra circular projects during my time at Napier and Salford Unis.
RETHINK. RESKILL. REBOOT. - Covid-19 and the Scottish Arts Industries Lockdowns have hit the Scottish arts industries hard. In late 2020, we spoke to artists and musicians about how the pandemic has affected their work, how they feel about the future and what they feel politicians can do to help the industry survive these challenging times. Producing this documentary has been my most challenging project yet, I advanced my skills in booking interviews with a variety of diverse contributors including politicians , musicians and academics. I also sourced a variety of high quality stock footage and was able to work dynamically when lockdowns required plans to change. |
Scratch 'N' Sniff: An Evening of New Writing and Music
Following the success of our Double Bill, in spring 2019, Liquid Picnic put out the call for pieces of new writing and music for a scratch night. This project was a one of the most logistically complex I've completed, with eight diffrent segments, last minute drop-outs and all of the scenes being staged in just one day! |
Second to None
Second to None is an in-development factual entertainment format, that I have been developing with Mutually Assured Productions, The premise is somewhere between QI and Family Fortunes. We have successfully recorded three test episodes to thoroughly test and adapt the premise with the goal to put together a finalised pilot. |
Flat Hunt
Flat Hunt was Liquid Picnic's first production, it was a collaboration with Joe Simpson, who served as co-writer and director on the film. It was a sizeable learning curve for everyone involved. The film was latter adapted into a play in collaboration with Scott Rigan and Capsize Collective |
